Do you accrue or have you accrued pension with StiPP? Then you will receive a pension overview from us. But when do you get this? And what does it say?
When will I receive a pension overview?
When and how often you receive a Uniform Pension Statement (UPO) depends on your situation.
As long as you accrue pension with us, you will receive a UPO before 1 October each year. We will send you an e-mail as soon as your overview is ready on Mijn StiPP Pensioen. Don't we have an email address for you? Then you will receive your overview by post.
We like to keep pension costs as low as possible. That is why we prefer to send you the pension information digitally as much as possible. Would you also like to receive your overview by e-mail? Check or add your e-mail address via My StiPP Pension.
On My StiPP Pension, we do prepare a new pension overview for you every year. This way you can see how your pension capital is doing. But you only get a notification about this once every five years.
Are you retiring from the temporary employment or secondment industry? Then you automatically stop accruing pension with us. Within six months, you will receive a 'pension overview at the end of participation'. After that, we prepare your pension overview every year on Mijn StiPP Pensioen. You will receive an e-mail once every five years that your UPO is ready. Don't we have an email address for you? Then you will receive your overview by post.
Please note: Were you still accruing pension with us on 31 December? Then you will also receive an overview of your pension when you were still accruing pension with us. This is required by law. This UPO shows the amount of your pension capital on 31 December. In the pension overview at the end of participation, you can see how your pension is doing now. So the amounts differ.
What is on my pension statement?
The Uniform Pension Statement (UPO) is divided into several parts. Below you can read what you can find per section.
- Are you divorced after 31 December 2024? Then your ex-partner is still on the overview.
- Are you married or did you register a partner after December 31, 2024? Then your partner is not yet on the overview.
In the Plus scheme, your partner is your surviving relative if you officially live together. This is not the case in the Basic Scheme.
Are you married in the Netherlands or do you have a registered partnership? Then the municipality will automatically pass this on to us. Do you live together or are you married abroad? Then register your partner yourself via Mijn StiPP Pensioen.
Here you can see the investment value of your pension on 31 December 2024. And how much pension you are expected to receive each month.
What will your partner and/or children get when you die?
Here you can read what amount your partner and/or children will receive if you die. And what amount they receive each month.

Are you accruing pension in the Plus Scheme? If you die while accruing pension with us, your partner is entitled to a partner's pension that is insured on a risk basis. We calculate this partner's pension using the pension base that is listed on your UPO with your pension details. The partner's pension that is insured on a risk basis may be higher or lower than in the previous overview. This is due to the way we calculate it and because the pension base changes every year. On www.mijnpensioenoverzicht.nl you can see how high the partner's pension is at the moment.
What do you get when you become disabled?
Here you can read what you are entitled to if you become incapacitated for work. This depends on the scheme in which you accrue pension.
- Basic regulation: You no longer accrue pension for the part that you are incapacitated for work.
- Plus scheme: You can continue to accrue pension without paying contributions. There are rules for that.
- 'Expected weather scenario': This is the expected end result that your pension seems to end up with at the moment. There is a 50% chance that your pension will be higher and a 50% chance that it will be lower than this amount.
- 'Good weather scenario': This is the amount you seem to end up with when the economy is very good. The chance that you will receive more than this amount is small (5% of the 'futures').
- 'Bad weather scenario': This is the amount you seem to end up with when the economy goes worse than expected. The chance that you will receive less than this amount is also small (5% of the 'futures').
Price increases or decreases affect the amount of your pension and what you can buy with this amount. We call this purchasing power.
- This has not been taken into account in the table under 'The amount of your pension is not fixed' .
- This is included in the overview under 'What if things go well or badly' .
Here you can read how much pension contribution has been paid in for you in 2024. The amount of your contribution depends on your pension scheme and age. There are different types of pension schemes. And it can differ per pension fund how you accrue pension. Do you want to know how it works at StiPP? Read more here.
We incur costs for administration and asset management. These are deducted from the return on the investments. In addition, there are other factors that influence your investment value. For example, if we receive an incoming value transfer from another pension provider for you. Or if your employer passes on corrections for previous years. The consequences of a divorce that you have reported in 2024 are also reflected in the investment value.
Every month, your employer pays pension contributions to StiPP. Just paying contributions is not enough for a good pension, and saving yields too little. That is why we invest your contribution, so that your pension can grow.

You will also find your factor A of 2024 here. The factor A is the pension growth and indicates how much your pension has increased in a given year. The fiscal annual margin indicates whether you have a 'demonstrable' pension deficit (a pension gap). And whether the Tax and Customs Administration gives you a tax advantage when accruing a supplementary pension. For your tax return for 2024, you need the factor A of 2023.
