The government wants as many working people as possible to accrue pension. Therefore, from 1 January 2024, the entry age has been lowered from 21 to 18 years. This means that younger employees from the age of 18 start accruing pension with StiPP.
Were you already employed by an employer affiliated with StiPP in 2023 and between 18 and 20 years old? The week count will start from 1 January 2024, so the weeks worked before that do not count.
